Root canal therapy
Root canal treatment may be necessary when the inside of your tooth, or the pulp and the roots that descend into the bone, become infected, damaged and inflamed.

Root canal retreatment
Root canal treatment has a very high success rate at removing infection from inside the tooth. However, if the infection is extensive, or the previous treatment was performed poorly, the root canal can become reinfected.
At Riverside Endodontics, we specialize in evaluating previously treated root canals and determining the best treatment option. If a retreatment is recommended, we have the most advanced instrumentations and techniques for success.
Trauma
Dental and facial trauma refer to physical injuries or damage that affects the teeth, gums, jaw or other oral structures. Accidents, sports injuries, falls can cause dental trauma and are most common in kids. Everyone is susceptible to accidents though.
The severity of dental trauma can range from mild, involving minor cosmetic damage, to severe, causing significant functional and structural issues. Apicoectomy
An apicoectomy is a simple root end surgical procedure. An apicoectomy may be necessary if the infection from a tooth becomes established in the jaw bone and needs to be removed.
