Dr. Scott Johnson is a Utah native, born and raised in Provo, UT. He attended Brigham Young University, where he majored in exercise science and was named an Academic All American by ESPN and CoSIDA. Upon graduating, he attended Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine, graduating with his DMD in 2015 and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. He went on to obtain his specialty certificate in Endodontics from Tufts University in Boston, MA. Dr. Johnson further obtained Endodontic Board Certification, demonstrating his commitment to the specialty and research based decision making with highest quality patient care.
In 2017, Dr. Johnson returned to his western roots to practice in Arizona. He was a clinical faculty instructor at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine for 3 years before transitioning into full time private practice. Dr. Johnson loves the integration of education with clinical practice. He takes particular interest in dental trauma, apical surgery, and endodontic retreatment when appropriate. Dr. Johnson recently co-authored the Non-surgical Retreatment chapter in the Pathways of the Pulp textbook. Dr. Johnson is passionate about integrating technology into his practice, providing a calm environment for even the most anxious patients, and clearly communicating treatment options. He maintains active membership in the American Association of Endodontists, American Board of Endodontics, American Dental association and Utah Dental Association.
He now resides in Provo, UT with his wife Lauren, and keeps busy with 4 rambunctious young boys. He loves the Utah outdoors, golf, bbq, sports and recently discovered pickleball.
Dr. Leah Reimnitz (RIME-nits) was born and raised in Belton, MO. She attended Truman State University in Kirksville, MO where she majored in exercise science and competed on the softball and Olympic weightlifting teams. After graduating summa cum She attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in Lincoln, NE, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2016 and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Following dental school, Dr. Reimnitz commissioned into the United States Air Force through the Health Professions Scholarship Program, completing her Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in 2017 and serving as a general dentist for 3 years in Italy before being competitively selected for her endodontic residency.
In 2022, Dr. Reimnitz earned her endodontic certificate at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center in San Antonio, TX in conjunction with her Masters in Oral Biology through the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. In 2023, she achieved diplomate status with the American Board of Endodontics, demonstrating her proficiency in the specialty and positioning her to provide the highest level of care to her patients.
Dr. Reimnitz prioritizes the comfort of her patients and strives to create an environment where her patients are an active part of their treatment. Her favorite thing as a provider is getting patients out of pain and helping them re-establish their quality of life. Dr. Reimnitz is especially interested in the topics of vital pulp therapy, irrigation modalities, and endodontic microsurgery.
Dr. Reimnitz is a proud new Utah resident and fan of the Utah Mammoth, although she retains her love for the Kansas City Chiefs and still wears her Marcus Allen jersey during games. In her spare time, Dr. Reimnitz can be found crushing it at CrossFit, skiing, hiking, scuba diving, and traveling the world with her husband, Adam, and their two pups, Maya and Bella.
