Preparing for Your First Appointment

Learn what to expect during your initial visit and how to prepare for a successful treatment experience.

Before your visit

Your appointment begins long before you arrive at our office. Our scheduling and insurance team is here to help answer your questions, verify your benefits, and make the process as smooth as possible.

Before your visit, we will verify your insurance coverage and provide an estimated breakdown of costs whenever possible. We will also send your patient forms electronically so you can complete them ahead of time, saving time at check-in and helping your appointment run efficiently.

The Appointment

When you arrive, our team will welcome you and gather any necessary diagnostic images. This often includes a CBCT (3D) scan, which provides detailed information about your tooth and surrounding structures and helps us make an accurate diagnosis and treatment recommendation.

Your doctor will carefully review your symptoms, dental history, and imaging before discussing their findings with you. Together, we will review your diagnosis, answer any questions, and discuss treatment options.

If treatment is recommended and you choose to proceed, we will complete your care and provide detailed post-operative instructions before you leave.

After Your Appointment

Our commitment to your care continues after your appointment. We will remain available to assist with any insurance adjustments, refunds, or outstanding balances. We also follow up to see how you are healing and encourage patients to contact us if symptoms persist or new concerns arise. If needed, we are happy to see you back for an evaluation to ensure your tooth is healing as expected.
